The causes of neck pain can be varied. We will assess the neck position and range of motion to diagnose the cause.

Stiff arthritic necks will benefit from joint mobilisation and the prescription of some simple exercises for you to do. Whiplash injuries cause severe muscle spasm in the neck area and we use manual therapy, massage and gentle stretching techniques to alleviate tension. Neck pain may also be caused by poor neck posture at work or at home and we advise you on exercises and ways to improve this.
