Hip, Knee Replacement, Rotator Cuff Repair etc

After surgery, joints are stiff and weak. There may be limited range of movement and there can be a lot of pain.

It is important to work on regaining normal movement and strength after some surgeries. By combining manual therapy and an appropriate home exercise programme to safely work the joint, you will speed recovery and help alleviate pain.

You will need to do some home exercises to build up the joint and this is a vital part of your rehabilitation. In some cases, your surgeon may advise a strengthening programme pre-surgery. This is usually in the case of knee surgery. We can help you with this also to ensure the joint is as strong as possible pre-surgery.
